Bank Your Stem Cells
for the Future

Preserve your adult stem cells today for potential longevity and regenerative therapies tomorrow. A simple outpatient procedure at our San Francisco office.

Preserve Your Best Cells
for Your Best Years

Your stem cells replenish and support your blood, bone, immune system, and other vital tissues. Research suggests the decline in stem cell number and viability plays a role in age-related physical decline.

Forever Labs can cryopreserve your cells now, so you have a reserve of your own young stem cells for future use as regenerative medicine advances.

Dr. Paul Abramson, medical director of My Doctor Medical Group, performs the bone marrow aspiration procedure here in our offices in San Francisco.

The Procedure

Bone Marrow Aspiration

Dr. Abramson has extensive experience performing medical procedures in office and hospital settings. He describes the bone marrow aspiration as "more significant than a blood draw, but much simpler than surgery."

Local Anesthesia

The posterior superior iliac spine (hip area) is precisely localized with ultrasound and numbed with local anesthetic.

Quick Collection

A bone marrow aspiration needle withdraws two syringes of aspirate. The procedure itself usually takes less than 15 minutes.

Immediate Recovery

A waterproof dressing is applied. Most patients can return to work the same day if using only local anesthesia.

Comfort Options

Choose the level of comfort that's right for you:

  • Local anesthesia only (quickest recovery)
  • Pre-medication with painkiller
  • Sedative for anxiety
  • Low-dose ketamine (dissociative/analgesic)
Questions

Frequently Asked

What is the bone marrow aspiration procedure like?

Dr. Abramson ranks it as "more significant than a blood draw, but much simpler than surgery." After local anesthesia is applied to the posterior hip area, a small needle withdraws bone marrow aspirate. The procedure itself takes about 15 minutes.

Can I have medications for pain and anxiety?

Yes. Some patients prefer only local anesthesia (lidocaine) for quickest recovery. We also offer pre-medication with painkillers, sedatives, or low-dose ketamine for greater comfort.

How long does the entire visit take?

Most patients are in and out in about an hour. This includes time for pre-medication to take effect, preparation, the procedure itself, and post-procedure observation.

Why bank stem cells now?

Your stem cells decline in number and potency as you age. Banking them now preserves a younger, more vital reserve for potential future regenerative therapies as the science advances.
